While most of you are this video's target audience and will get a quick cute high off of this video, someone really needs to show this to Dad, because something tells me he'll like it as well. I acknowledge the simplicity of this concept, yet couldn't help but giggle and look over to H. and say, "Look! They're in the bowls!" He was at a loss for how best to tell me I'm crazy.
I would like to say I called all the vendor people and gave them the correct number of people that will be at the wedding, but I completely forgot. Yesterday we got a note stuck in our door from the apartment office stating that a "Bank Inspection" was to occur today at 11am. After googling what exactly that was, I cleaned up the place a bit and now it looks very, very nice. There's a lot of space when things aren't randomly on the ground. Anywho, that'll be on my list of things to do tomorrow as I pretend to not count every single day left until the wedding day.
Speaking of, 11 DAYS PEOPLE. 11 DAYS. I'm both excited and nervous, but only nervous for all of the non-ceremony stuff. I'm just hoping that the reception goes well. Because, well ... you know. So yup, super excited! And, the caterer said whatever people don't eat we can take home. How awesome is that?
I had a small scare this morning, after I finally plugged my phone into the charger (it died overnight). The alterations lady at David's Bridal left me a message saying she needed to talk to me about the dress I wanted to have altered and how I needed to call her back right away, straight away. The first thing I thought was Holy crap, they accidentally dipped it in blue paint and now it's unwearable what can I do at least they'll let me pick something else out but then that needs to be altered and will it be ready in time for the wedding?! ... Sometimes, I over-think things. She was calling to ask if I'll be paying for the last set of alterations when the dress gets picked up. Uh, well, since you said that's what would happen when I tried it on last, I'm imagining that's still the plan. I guess she just didn't note it on the receipt or something. Sooooo glad there wasn't anything wrong with the dress.
One thing I definitely still need to do is get in touch with the people who are bringing desserts to the reception and nail down what exactly they're bringing as well as what they're bringing it on. I will probably just buy some white or spring colored Corelle-type platters super cheap from somewhere when I get back into town. That way everything looks cohesive, and it's less of a hassle for the people bringing stuff, I hope. I also need to figure out when people can bring things into the hotel reception area, and if we can use their fridge if the dessert needs to be cold. Maybe we'll just bring a cooler.
How darling are these cutie-pies? And, they're gluten-free!
One last parting image for all of you wedding fiends. Okay, maybe that's just me, but here is a good example of what I hope my shoes will look like for the wedding, minus the pink.
And yes, I still need to do this. I'm worried how well the fluff will travel, but I'm also doubting how much time I'll have to make these back in the homeland. If I have time here, I'll make them here. I might not make these at all, which would be sad, but not too awful in the scheme of things. The only drawback is I know for a fact that the photographer lady will definitely take a picture of our shoes.
